Banteay Sam Re Temple is a bit far from other place in Siem
Reap, and it also has long age too. The distant from the town to this is
sixteen kilometers, and it locates in Preah Dak commune, Bon Tiey Srey District.
Therefore, visitors need to spend some time to reach this temple. The word Sam
Re refers to group of mountain people who live in the forest. This temple built
by king Suryavarman II. Most styles of this temple are similar to Angkor Wat.
This temple is really nice with great Khmer architectures too. It is also a
popular place for visitors as well even it is a bit isolate from other places.
