Prasat Andet
Temple is an ancient temple that build from brick during the the reign of king
Jayavarman I. It has thousand year ages with many periods till today. This
temple dedicated to God Hirihara, and the shape of it is rectangular with
7.50-meter length, 5.50-meter width and 1-meter thick. This temple has
wonderful Khmer traditional styles. The decoration is also nice in the temple. There was a statue of Hirihara, and it was
brought to keep at National museum in Phnom Penh. By the way, there is Bird Sanctuary
nearby this temple too. Its name is Boeng Tonle Chmar, and there are lots of
flooded forests at this place. The total area of this place is 400 hectares.
There are many kinds of birds live there with lots fishes as well. Therefore,
visitors can visit this Bird Sanctuary after Prasat Andet temple.
