Phnom Yat Resort
is very popular place in the province, and most local people know this place
very well. It is both historical and cultural resort. There is an ancient
temple that built in 1922 on this mountain. There are many statues in the areas
of the pagoda. Crowd of people go to visit this resort during traditional
festival. They go there to pray for their ancestors and take time to relax too.
There are also many visitors go to this resort during normal days as well. You
need to pass on the 242 steps to reach the top of this mountain. When you reach the top, you can see whole view
of Pailin city.
