Preah Sihanouk province
is one of the most famous tour directions among other popular places in
Cambodia. Some local people call this province as Kampong Som long time ago. Preah Sihanouk
is the name of the former king who demanded the independence from France. Visitors
can travel along National road 4 with the distance of 232 kilometers from Phnom
Penh city. It spends around four hours to reach this province as the road is up
and down. There are valley and mountains with lots of tree along the way to
this place. Visitors normally stop at grandmother Mao to pray to get safe for
their traveling. This province has beautiful white beaches and islands. The sea
also has clear water that gets attention of the visitors. There are lots of
tourists go to see this place during public holiday and weekend.
