Yeak Laom Lake is popular direction in the province, and it
is just five kilometers from the town of Ratanakiri. This lake is on the top on
the mountain with many trees around there that make up nice view. It has age of
centuries that form from a volcano. It has about 48 meters deep with diameter
of 800 meters in the dry season in Cambodia. There are lots of fishes and water
animals in this lake too. The water in the lake is really nice and clear, and
it is very good for swimming. The water is also cool, so it is great to visit there
during hot season. Visitors can walk around this lake to see nice view there
that lots of trees grow next to it. By the way, there are also many huts nearby
this lake too, so visitors can rent one place for seating. After that, they can
order food and drink from local vendor there.
